Although they have not yet reached the market, the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X has appeared in the CPU-Z database with a validated result where all cores run at an overclock of 5.8 GHz.

We are used to seeing overclock records with higher speeds, but the milestone here is to have achieved it with all 16 cores at once, since generally only one core is used to break speed records. In fact, the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X can reach 5.85 GHz in one or two cores automatically with the use of PBO (Precision Boost Overdrive) and with low temperatures, but to reach that speed in all 16 cores it is necessary a much more aggressive manual overclock.

For this, the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X has been configured at 1.4v and some type of extreme cooling has been used, since the temperatures that the CPU-Z monitored remained below 40 degrees Celsius when with conventional cooling it would have reached much higher figures.

Specifically, the speed reached has been an exact 5,793.75 MHz together with an ASUS ROG Crosshair X670E Hero motherboard equipped with 32 GB of DDR5 6,000 MHz RAM with CL30-38-38-96 latencies from G.SKILL. Although the graphics is not very relevant in this case, it is an AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT.
