Since Twitter was bought by magante Elon Musk, the platform has not only implemented changes, but has also been the target of strong criticism from its users. One of the more controversial changes is the Twitter Blue subscription service. One of your users has just taken advantage of one of the service’s features to illegally post the movie of Super Mario Bros.
One of the benefits of Twitter Blue is that it allows its users to share videos of up to 1 hour in length and with a quality of 1080p (Full HD) in their tweets.
It didn’t take long for users to take advantage of this feature to infringe copyrights, such as a user who illegally posted the full Nintendo and Illumination movie last weekend.

Millions of people illegally watched the film Super Mario thanks to twitter
The movie was uploaded in 2 parts and, although it did not have the correct appearance, it was in very good quality.
Originally the uploader was omgitssashley, but the reach was boosted by vidsthatgohard, who has just over 1 million followers and whose posts have a huge reach as they are memes.
According to the report of Forbes, the film managed to stay on the platform for at least 7 hours and reached 8 million views before it was removed; however, many users even took the opportunity to download it with the help of Twitter bots that download videos.
The account that originally uploaded the video was suspended. The retweeter managed to evade the suspension longer, but at the time of writing it is no longer available either, and this was apparently part of the punitive measure Twitter took as a result of sharing the film.
In case you missed it: Argentine TV channel also illegally shared the film of Super Mario.
