After the data became public, the hacker expressed his interest in selling the source code of GTA V; however, it was also reported that he was seeking to reach a monetary settlement with Rockstar to prevent the release of more information.
The reason this is one of the biggest data leaks in the gaming world is because GTA VI is one of the most highly anticipated titles and is even estimated to bring in $3.5 billion in launch bookings and a average of 2,000 million annually from its publication, according to data from Bank of America.
