We have received some rather curious news related to the Joy-con and the Wii Remote, since it has just been discovered that the Nintendo Switch controls work as a Wii sensor bar.
As you will surely remember, Wii was a true revolution in the video game industry thanks to the introduction of the Wii Remote, the control that allowed you to get up from your chair and play your titles with the help of movement, all with the help of a Wii Sensor Bar that I detected it.
Now our friends at Nintendo Life have just discovered that a pair of Joy-Cons can double as one of these bars, so using the Wii Remote without this wired accessory won’t be a problem anymore.
Here you can see it:
I got curious and found out that by using Game Builder Garage you can totally set up your Joy-Con as a Wii sensor bar lol pic.twitter.com/7PH4MRMRlp

As you can see, the clip shows how 2 Joy-Con were used separated with the distance that the Wii Sensor Bar would cover, all while moving a Wii Remote and on the screen it is demonstrated that it works.
It is worth mentioning that this user only needed to configure the Nintendo Switch controls with the help of Game Builder Garageso once with this step (which I wish had been explained in detail), what was seen in the video was achieved.

Now, we can see that Wii games could work on Nintendo Switch Online, although surely we are already asking too much of a service that does not even add the Game Boy catalog.
What do you think of this way of using the Joy-Con? Tell us in the comments.
