They confirm that human remains found inside bags in Mexico correspond to missing call center workers

( Spanish) — The bodies found in at least 45 bags on May 31 in a ravine in the municipality of Zapopan, Guadalajara metropolitan area, in Mexico, correspond to employees of a telephone call center who were reported missing, according to a statement from the Institute. Jalisco of Forensic Sciences.

Tests carried out by the entity confirmed that the human remains belonged to the workers, the statement said.

“(The information) was brought to the attention of the next of kin and was included in the investigation file to clarify the facts,” the statement added. He also indicated that the authorities maintain a search and recovery operation for evidence in the area.

Last Friday, the Jalisco State Prosecutor’s Office said that on May 31, 45 bags containing human remains with “matching characteristics” of the missing call center workers had been discovered. Seven employees of the place were reported missing between May 20 and 22 in the metropolitan area of ​​Guadalajara, in western Mexico.
