Farhat has emphasized that the painting is intact since it was protected by glass to which these two activists who have been detained by the Swedish police have also stuck.
He museum spokesman has expressed dismay before the fact and claimed cultural heritage “as a great symbolic value and it is unacceptable to attack it regardless of the purpose”.

Since mid-2022, climate activists have compromised much of museum security with indiscriminate attacks on works of art to protest climate change and to attract the attention of governments around the world.
