There is an eternal debate about which system is better for playing: a console or a PC? The discussion about these alternatives and their respective pros and cons was recently rekindled after the announcement of the PlayStation 5 Pro, a system that will be sold in exchange for $699 USD without accessories.
Many consider this figure to be more than enough to build a good PC and enjoy without problems what the industry has to offer today. In the midst of this debate, Hideaki Nishinoone of the directors of Sony Interactive Entertainmentstated that PlayStation 5 is the best alternative for playing, since computers are difficult to assemble and configure.
He also noted that Sony’s approach is very clear. Although some of its biggest exclusives have come to an end, PCwill continue to focus on consoles. This is made clear by the upcoming launch of the PlayStation 5 Pro.

Is a console or a PC better? PlayStation executive joins the debate
During a recent interview with Nikkei (via Push Square), Nishino was little concerned about the popularity of computers among gamers. He believes that Consoles are a better alternative and of course recommended playing in PS5.
In his view, Sony offers the best alternative in terms of hardware, software and ecosystem in general. He also believes that the other systems have several disadvantages. In the case of computers, he argued that they are difficult to assemble and configure.
As for mobile, he said that many of his titles have commercials that impact the player experience. In this regard, he said that PlayStation offers quality content instantly. Despite this, it made clear that its expansion to computers is important, as this way it will reach new audiences.
“I find that a lot of mobile games have ads and PCs are difficult to set up and configure. With PlayStation, you can play the content you purchased as soon as you turn on the system. Products are clearly displayed in the stores where you buy software, so it’s an intuitive experience.
“We are trying to increase the overall gaming market by expanding content to PCs. There is no doubt that home consoles will be the core of our business, but by offering titles for devices other than home consoles, we will reach a broader range of customers,” Nishino said.
