May 14. (EUROPE PRESS) –
An Su-34 fighter, an Su-35 and two Mi-8 helicopters of the Russian Army have been “possibly shot down” in Russia’s Briansk region, east of the borders with Belarus and Ukraine, and there are no survivors among the crew.
The authorities in the region are looking for the attackers, who have allegedly shot down aircraft belonging to the same group whose objective was to bomb positions in the Ukrainian region of Chernigov, according to what the newspaper ‘Kommersant’ has published.
Bryansk Region Governor Alexander Bogomaz has stated that at least one civilian has been injured in the collision, and that five houses have been damaged.
Although there are no official causes of the accident, the authorities are looking for possible saboteurs for shooting down one of the helicopters with a missile.
