thermaltake has presented new products in an online event called Thermaltake Expo 2022. In it we have been able to see the typical products of the company, boxes, fans, even a gaming desk. But the new Thermaltake TOUGHPOWER iRGB PLUS 1650W power supply featuring 2 x PCIe 5.0 connectors natively.
This Thermaltake font looks ready for the next generation of graphics cards with which a high consumption is expected. With these two PCIe 5.0 connectors it is not necessary to resort to solutions like those of EVGA to transform up to 5 connectors of 8 pins into 2 of these connectors, simply we have them natively on the power supply.
This is the first power supply of the brand that will have two of these connectors, and one of the few solutions that exist at the moment. A feature that will be made seems to be a must, if you want a high-end card from the next generation NVIDIA RTX 40. With these two native connectors it will be possible to use beyond 450W offered by the adapters of other solutions.
This source has 80 PLUS Titanium certified For greater energy efficiency, it also has RGB lighting and real-time monitoring of values such as voltage, efficiency and power through Thermaltake software.
For now price or release date unknown for this model Thermaltake TOUGHPOWER iRGB PLUS 1650W.
