Spoiler alert! This story reveals which teams a couple of artists ended up joining in the audition on the October 8 episode of The Voice. If you need to catch up on season 26, the episodes can be streamed with a peacock subscription.
It’s probably no surprise to anyone that Snoop Dogg has added a certain style to the TV schedule 2024 as new coach in The Voice. He always seems to know what to say to keep everyone inspired and entertained, and I hope we see the rapper again. in future seasons. But I have to admit that Michael Bublé, the other rookie coach of season 26, has been quite a surprise. I had no idea the singer was so funny, and I’m living for the way he’s been using the plots of Titanic and other films to try to gain the favor of artists.
The blind auditions have been crazy so far, with the new rule that has been introduced and some auditions that make historyso when the artists took the stage on October 8, the first Tuesday episode of the season, with The VoiceThe agenda is affected. For the presidential elections, it is not surprising that Michael Bublé felt the need to stretch the truth a little to attract the attention of the candidates. Gabrielle Zabosky turned all four chairs with her version of Kelly Clarksonis “Mr. Know It All,” and Bublé passionately argued why he should join his team, saying:
At that moment, Gabrielle Zabosky realized what was happening and asked him if he was talking about Titanic. Michael Bublé insisted that he had never heard of it and continued, laughing The Voice coaches and audience:
How dramatic! He really gave his all, but the singer chose to join Gwen Stefani‘steam. The “Home” singer had better luck with Jamison Puckett, who sang Journey’s “Faithfully.” Reba McEntire and Michael Bublé turned their chairs for the artist, which upset the latter quite a bit, as he said he did not want to fight the Queen of Country due to his traumatic past. Buble explained:
As everyone realized, he was just pretending to be a character from fight clubReba McEntire pressed her button, causing her hit song “You Lie” to blare from the speakers. Michael Bublé laughed so hard that he brought tears to his eyes and exclaimed:
The Voice Coaches have always been known for their antics, and Blake Shelton He was also known to lie a little to win artists. However, the way Michael Bublé does it starts off so sincere that it always takes a second to realize what he’s doing, and (ironically) feels more authentic than some of the other actions taken by the mentors. I think this is actually part of his personality and not something the show told him to do.
On the October 7 episode, he was so upset with himself for not choosing the MisterMoon duo (who joined Team Snoop) that he compared himself to a character from pretty woman. In Bublé’s words:
He’s so extra, and I can’t get over how committed Michael Bublé is. A couple of times, he simply took Gwen Stefani’s life story and told an artist that he used to be in a ska band in the ’90s. He also asked a singer to help him celebrate the perfect wedding anniversary by joining in. to her team (when it was actually Stefani’s anniversary with Blake Shelton).
It’s a little silly, I admit, but it has me hooked. I can’t wait to continue looking The Voice to see what stories come next. New episodes air at 8 pm ET on Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC.
