Tomorrow is the deadline for companies to recognize the premium for services corresponding to the middle of the year and the plans that workers make with these resources are varied.

According to a survey by Fenalco Bogotá Cundinamarca75% of people state that they carry out financial planning to determine what they will invest their service premium in.
The director of that branch of the union, Juan Esteban Orrego, said that the survey allows us to identify that the payment of debts is a priority for workers and each year more people use their additional income to catch up, according to 59%. Last year, 31% announced so.
Another 25% of the people consulted do not consider in advance what will be the destination of those resources and they will simply invest it in the needs they have at the moment.
When asked what they are going to do with the premium, Fenalco explains that the majority, 59% of those surveyed, allocate the service premium to pay debts.
(See: Who will and who will not receive the mid-year bonus).
As a second priority, 12% will invest in education. They follow those who will pay for trips or vacation (9%), will buy clothing or footwear (7%), and only 5% state that they prefer to save that income that comes in June for future projects.
Other expenses that are mentioned to a lesser extent are rental arrangements or leisure and entertainment plans.
For Juan Esteban Orrego the payment of the premium is an opportunity for businesses that take advantage of this circulating flow of money to make discounts or promotions and thus move the cash registers during June and July.
