CD Projekt Red has announced today that The Witcher remake is in development, thus explaining that the game that started it all is being remade by the studioand it is that reason is not lacking if we take into account that this game is the first one that came out of this studio in 2007.
The game is currently in a very early stage of development at the Polish studio Fool’s Theory, where veteran developers of the saga currently workwhile CD Projekt Red is providing creative supervision, probably to ensure that the title is faithful to what the first game brought to the table.
The company also explains that this remake, which we may know by the code name Canis Majorisis being developed with the utmost attention to detail and carein addition to asking users for patience since it will still take a while to even be able to talk in depth about this development.
After what happened with Cyberpunk 2077it is to be expected that the company will take it very calmly and carefully when it comes to showing things from the game and making promisesespecially those related to its release date, but it is still interesting.
