() –The official website of Bangladesh’s prime minister, national police and central bank appear to have been hacked by a group calling itself “THE R3SISTANC3” in what it called “Operation Hunt,” according to identical messages posted on their websites, after This week the protests will degenerate into violence against employment quotas in the public service that opponents consider discriminatory.
“Stop killing students,” read the message, with the phrase in red: “It is no longer a protest, now it is a war.”
“The peaceful protests of our brave students were met with brutal violence and murder, orchestrated by the government and its political cronies. This is no longer a mere protest; “It is a war for justice, for freedom and for our future,” the message read.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, her party, the Awami League, the police and the central bank have yet to comment on the hack.

Dozens of people were reportedly killed and hundreds injured in the latest violence, with riot police using tear gas and rubber bullets against protesters and crowds of protesters armed with clubs filling the streets and university campuses of the capital Dhaka and other cities.
Mobile phone and internet services were cut, schools and universities were ordered closed, and security forces were deployed to quell the unrest.
Hasina announced a judicial inquiry into the killings and asked protesters to wait for the Supreme Court’s verdict.
