The website and online registration of the Fifth Meeting of the Regional Conference on Population and Development of Latin America and the Caribbean is available

The Fifth Meeting of the Regional Conference on Population and Development of Latin America and the Caribbean The objectives will be to present the final version of the Second regional report on the implementation of the Montevideo Consensus on Population and Development by the Technical Secretariat, address the achievements of the Montevideo Consensus and the challenges for its 30-year implementation of the Program of Action of the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD), and analyze the progress and challenges in relation to the rights of people with disabilities within the framework of the population and development agenda. The participation of all ECLAC member countries, as well as representatives of the United Nations system and civil society, is expected.

Online registration of participants will be enabled until June 28, and is done through the Conference website. This registration is a requirement to participate in the meeting, which will be in person.
