Identical in conception to its South Korean rival (and like the original model from which it derives), the Vivo X Fold+ integrates two screens: a 6.53-inch exterior and a folding interior that unfolds to provide 8.03 inches, just like a compact tablet. Of course, leaving the internal screen only partially open allows it to be used in split screen mode, adapting the interface to improve the handling of certain applications.

At the hardware level, we are talking about a phone at the top. The model announced today replaces the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 of the base model with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 with higher performance and a strong focus on gaming thanks to a CPU and GPU set up to 10% faster, but also much more efficient in terms of consumption. of energy (Vivo assures that it gets two more hours playing video). It is accompanied by 12 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of internal storage and a remarkable rear camera, with 5x stabilized optical zoom and three stabilized sensors.
Finally, another improved aspect is the charging power, which rises from 66 to 80 W, allowing it to go from 0 to 100 in 35 minutes. It is also possible to charge the phone wirelessly at 50W (no change or improvement from the base model).
Vivo has not yet announced the availability of the X Fold+ in Spain, but considering the presence of Western media at the debut of the original model and the fact that the firm has taken the trouble to publish a international press release, the range is likely to land in the West sooner rather than later, either in whole or in part. In China, the rates are around 1,450 and 1,595 euros to change depending on the chosen storage capacity.
