Nov. 1 () –
The United States authorities have confirmed this Tuesday that, despite being concerned about the possible supply of Iranian missiles to Russia, they have no evidence that this is happening.
This has been recognized by the strategic communication coordinator of the National Security Council of the United States, John Kirby, who has stressed that the Iranian government is taking part in favor of Russia in the war in Ukraine.
“We remain concerned about the possible supply of surface-to-surface missiles to Russia (by Iran). So far we have not seen confirmation of this, but we are concerned,” Kirby said at a press conference.
At this point, the White House official has remarked that Iran does supply drones to the Russian Armed Forces, which certifies Tehran’s support for Moscow to “kill Ukrainians”, reports Ukrinform.
He also recalled that, according to the United States, Iran has sent instructors and technical personnel to the Crimean peninsula – annexed by Russia in 2014 – to train Russian troops in the use of drones.
Complaints about Iran’s alleged supply of unmanned aerial vehicles to Russia have gained strength in recent weeks as kyiv warns that the Russian Army uses them to attack the Ukrainian population and civilian infrastructure.
