The DANA, which is mainly affecting the east of the country, has so far left a provisional balance of 158 dead, 155 in the Valencian Community, two in Castilla-La Mancha and another in Andalusia. These data place this natural disaster as one of the most serious in the last 75 years, even ahead of the Biescas (Huesca) flood in 1996 with 87 deaths and the Turia flood in 1957, in which 80 lost their lives. and 100 people.
