The United States Administration has acknowledged that China has not yet decided to supply weapons to the Russian Armed Forces, although it considers that it is a matter that is still under discussion within the Chinese Government.

The spokesman for the National Security Council of the United States, John Kirby, has acknowledged before the cameras of the chain that Washington does not believe that China “has removed the matter from the table”, although it does not believe that “they have made the decision to continue forward”.

In this way, China would still be assessing the pros and cons of reinforcing Russia’s military capabilities, a possibility that the United States has been warning about in recent weeks, at the same time that it has warned the Asian giant of the enormous consequences it would have. .

Despite the alerts from the United States, the Ukrainian authorities themselves have acknowledged in recent days that their intelligence services have no indication that Beijing is supplying weapons to Moscow.

In fact, from Kiev they have asserted that, in its desperate search to acquire weapons, Russia has first knocked on the door of some partners or sympathizers -such as China or Serbia-, but that in the face of their refusal it has now fixed its gaze on Burma.
