British experts point out that, in the case of Pokrovsk, Russian troops have already penetrated between six and seven kilometers into the city, the result of gradual progress that had already allowed them to take some nearby towns such as Selidove, says a report released by the United Kingdom Ministry of Defense.

In Kurajove, “Russian forces are probably already fighting in the center.” British Intelligence warns that the definitive conquest would allow Russia to “consolidate positions” throughout the area and face new advances towards the west with more guarantees.

Regarding the situation in Velika Novosilka, Russian forces continue trying to cut off supply routes from the northern area and try to completely surround the city, despite the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have managed to recover a nearby town in a counteroffensive described as “limited.”
