People’s Republican, Kemal Kilicdaroglu.

Internal friction within the alliance has caused a slight tension in the markets due to the inability of its members to name a consensus candidate.

For this reason, in a statement sent late this Saturday and collected by Bloomberg, the coalition has announced that its deliberations are about to conclude and will make its result public tomorrow.

Aksener, has indicated that “they will not give in to impositions” and has indicated that his party’s proposals have been “rejected” and “ignored” in favor of Kiliçdaroglu despite the fact that IYI advocated for other candidates, such as the mayor of Istanbul, Ekrem Imamoglu, or the one from Ankara, Mansur Yavas.

Thus, he has asserted that “at this point, the training has been forced to choose between death and malaria.” “We are not going to give in to this,” she defended, according to information collected by the newspaper ‘Cumhuriyet’.

“In 2023 we are going to continue fighting for our democracy, for the values of our republic. Our decision was clear yesterday and it is clear today. No matter what is put before us, our fight is the same and will continue to be so. (… .) We have promised to be the voice of the nation and seize power, not to be afraid of that will,” he said.

The group also includes the Future Party, led by former prime minister Ahmet Davutoglu, the DEVA party, led by former economic czar Ali Babacan and the Felicity Party, an Islamist group led by Temel Karamollaoglu.
