The agents have resorted to tear gas when several of the participants in the march, which had begun in the square on November 11, crossed the limits that the security forces had set for them.
Dozens of policemen surrounded the diplomatic delegation, located in one of the most exclusive areas of the French capital in the XVI district, and which has permanent surveillance.
Several hundred people, a large part of them Iranians, had attended the protest, in which slogans were chanted against the regime of Tehran and in support of the opponents, and which was organized by various NGOs such as France Attacks or the International League against Racism and Antisemitism (LICRA).

Among the participants there have also been some French political personalities, such as the mayor of the 16th district of Paris, Francis Szpiner of the conservative Republican Party.
Last Saturday another rally against repression in iran in the Châtelet square, in the center of the French capital, which was attended by several hundred people.

In addition, Iran has accused USA of trying to violate its sovereignty after Washington authorized technology companies to expand their services in the Persian country, in response to internet restrictions to stop the protests.
