The Sudanese Doctors Union has reported this Tuesday that there are already 447 civilians killed by the fighting that broke out on April 15 between the paramilitaries of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the Sudanese Army.
Thus, it has indicated that the number of injured has increased to 2,255 after more than two weeks of clashes, as the organization has pointed out in a statement. Preliminary information spoke of 436 dead civilians and some 2,100 wounded.
The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have assured this Tuesday that they have shot down a Sudanese military plane during a series of bombardments in the capital, Khartoum.
Despite the ceasefire agreement in force, the RSF have claimed to have shot down a Sudanese military plane that belongs “to the coup forces”, as they have pointed out.
