The new streaming platform from Warner has finally landed in Spain. HBO Max has been replaced by Max with a new multi-device app, two different plans (Standard and Premium) and much more content, including sports.
As with other services such as Netflix or Disney+, it is also possible to subscribe to Max through some operators. Specifically, the three most important (Movistar, Orange and Vodafone) and some regional Masorange brands.
Below, we explain the options available for hire Max with each of them, their prices, conditions and launch promotions. But we’ll tell you one thing: if you want to enjoy the Premium plan, you will have to subscribe to Max outside of the operators.
Max prices with Movistar
In December, Movistar revolutionized its television offering with the announcement, among others, of the arrival of HBO Max to Movistar Plus+, something that Occurred at the end of March. Telefónica’s agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery also included the incorporation of the future Max platform to the Spanish operator. And so it has been: Max is now available with Movistar.
The good news is that it has not brought any associated price increase, so miMovistar or Fusión customers who already had HBO Max now automatically enjoy the Max Standard plan for the same price. In addition, the integration is total, so it is possible to access Max content from the Movistar Plus+ search engine itself, without entering a specific app on your decoder.
In total, there are six Movistar Total Fiction packages that have Max included. They are the following:
- Total Fiction: 16 euros per month (includes seven film and series channels, Max and SkyShowtime).
- Total Fiction with Disney+: 20 euros per month (includes Total Fiction content and adds Disney+).

Max prices with Orange
Orange reached a agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery It did not include the incorporation of HBO Max into the platform, but rather established the arrival of Max in Spain as a starting point. That means that, unlike Vodafone and Movistar, Orange did not offer HBO Max to its customers.
That has changed and the new platform Max is now available on Orange TV with full integration, so that your content appears in the unified Orange TV search engine, both from the 4K decoder and from the multi-device app.
Orange includes the Max Standard plan in its two most complete rates:
- Love Cinema and Series Total 4: 130 euros per month.
- Love Soccer Total 4: 168 euros per month.
In addition, you can add the new platform to the Love Cine and Series 2 rate, which until now only allowed you to choose between Netflix or Prime Video + Disney+. The price of Love Cinema and Series 2 with Max It is 90 euros per month, the same as if you choose Netflix or Disney+/Prime Video. In all cases, the stay is 12 months.
Max prices with Vodafone
In 2016, HBO Spain landed on Vodafone TV exclusively, in the same way that years later HBO Max did it. A few months ago, Vodafone renewed its alliance with Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) until 2026, but lost exclusivity. Hence we can now have Max on other operators.
All Vodafone customers who already have HBO Max contracted automatically start enjoying Max content and functionalities for the same price. Additionally, as a launch promotion, Vodafone will offer Premium plan conditions (4K, HDR, four simultaneous reproductions…) to its customers until August 31. Starting in September, they will have the Standard plan, like the rest of the operators.
Vodafone customers will enjoy the benefits of Max’s Premium plan until August 31; Starting in September, they will have the Standard plan
If you are a Vodafone customer and did not have HBO Max, you can enjoy Max with any Vodafone mobile-only or convergent rate by adding the packs Seriefans and Serielovers from Vodafone TV, whose price varies depending on the contracted rate. Additionally, Max is included in the following plans:

The promotion of Euskaltel, R and Telecable
In addition to Orange, there are three other Masorange brands that have incorporated Max into their television offering. We talk about regional operators Euskatel, R and Telecablewhich allow you to add a subscription to the Max Standard plan on some rates.
In all three cases, Max’s first three months are free. That is, Euskatel, R or Telecable customers that add Max to their rates, they will not pay the subscription during the first three invoices (the one for the activation month and two more). And from the fourth month, the price of the Max Standard subscription will become 8 euros per month instead of the 9.99 euros per month that it officially costs.
