Last week Google announced that after a few years of support, Google STADIA would stop working. This would mean that some exclusive games on the cloud streaming platform could never be found. That was going to happen with an exclusive Spanish indie, but it has just been confirmed that it will not have this fate.

When Google STADIA still did not have exclusives, Google found in the Spanish studio Tequila Works one of the first allies to strengthen the platform’s catalog and announced that its psychological horror title GYLT it would only reach Google STADIA.

The study always made it clear that one should not talk about GYLT as exclusive to Google STADIA, although it could never reveal if the title would debut on other platforms, which made it a game, although not exclusive, only available on Google STADIA, something that since its launch in 2019 until now has been respected.

The once exclusive to STADIA GYLT will come to other platforms

Well, we don’t know what the exclusivity agreement was between Tequila Works and Google, but the study finally confirmed that GYLT it won’t be left in limbo once Google STADIA comes to an end.

The developer reported through a statement that GYLT it will go cross-platform at some point next year, 2023.

In case you missed it: Tequila Works was inspired by Silent Hill to create GYLT.

The announcement was somewhat terse, but it’s all that fans of horror games interested in this adventure wanted to hear, since they will finally be able to play it beyond the closure of Google STADIA, not to mention that many players will finally be able to discover it, well Let’s remember that Google STADIA is not available in territories such as Mexico and other regions of Latin America.

Tequila Works also did not reveal which platforms it will reach, but, taking into account its technical specifications, any console should be able to run it, so it is not unreasonable that it arrives on PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch consoles, in addition, obviously, to PC. Of course, the developer mentioned that she has been working on adaptations to other platforms for some time.
