The SkyShowtime streaming service will arrive in Spain on February 28 with a promotional price of 2.99 euros per month

SkyShowtime, the last great platform of streaming that remained to land in Spain, already has a release date and monthly price. The service will be available in our country from February 28 in exchange for 5.99 euros per month and, for a limited time (not specified), customers who subscribe through the web will receive a 50% discount for always. Currently this offer leaves the monthly payment at 2.99 euros. If the price rises in the future, whoever has taken advantage of this promotion will continue to pay half.

SkyShowtime will arrive flanked by a selection of library titles and franchise suites from Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon, DreamWorks Animation, Paramount+, Showtime, Sky Studios and Peacock. The service promises to offer an initial catalog with “thousands of hours of quality entertainment for the whole family.” Furthermore, the platform streaming will feature local original programming, documentaries and specials. The first SkyShowtime original for Spain will be Bosé, a biographical series about the singer Miguel Bosé that will be available from March 3.

When it is available in Spain in the SkyShowtime catalog we will find series like Halo, Yellowstone and its prequels 1883 and 1923, A Friend of the Family, Mayor of Kingstown, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Law and Order (T21 and T22), Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin, Souls, The Best Man: The Final Chapters, The Calling, The Fear Index, The Great Game, The Midwich Cuckoos, The Offer, The Rising, The Undeclared War, Tulsa King, Vampire Academy and the canceled American Gigolo and Let The Right One. This will also be the home of originals that HBO Max Europe has discarded as Por H or Por B, Everything Other, Nothing New and Foodie Love.

Regarding movies, SkyShowtime will offer, among others, the films that make up the Gru franchise: Despicable Me, the Full Throttle franchise, the Mission Impossible franchise, the Star Trek film franchise and the Jurassic Park franchise. In the future, customers of the service will be able to see premieres such as A Town Called Malice, Fatal Attraction, Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, Lioness and Rabbit Hole. It’s not official yet, but when it finishes its run in theaters Super Mario Bros. The movie should land on SkyShowtime.

The service in streaming SkyShowtime will be available via the web at skyshowtime.com and through the app on iOS, tvOS, Android devices, Android TV, Google Chromecast, LG TV and Samsung.
