Oct. 18 (Portaltic/EP) –
The Sims franchise has advanced its next iteration under the name of Project Rene, a multiplatform and multiplayer title that is currently in development, although to alleviate the wait, The Sims 4 will incorporate babies next year.
Maxis and Electronic Arts have announced the news that will come to The Sims franchise in the first broadcast ‘Behind The Sims Summit’, which has also celebrated two decades of these social simulation games.
As EA announced in September, the basic game of The Sims 4 is available from this Tuesday for free download on PC, Mac and game consoles, but from Maxis they have assured that they will continue to update the contents of this title on a regular basis. And they have advanced the arrival of a new expansion in 2023 that will incorporate babies.
To recognize the work of ‘modders’, the company has announced a partnership with Overwolf to create a safe place to download content for The Sims 4 developed by these creators, which will be available at a later date.
The Sims FreePlay has incorporated new features in the creator of sims this Tuesday that improve the appearance in preteens, teenagers, adults and the elderly.
This mobile game will celebrate in December a new mission, ‘Christmas is in the Heir’, which will allow you to get a cozy cabin, and in early 2023 the superyachts will arrive. The Sims Mobile, for its part, will incorporate balconies as a construction element, at Christmas.
The company is currently working on the next generation of the game, Project Rene, which, in addition to being multiplatform, will allow you to play alone or collaborate with other players.
Although it is in an early stage of development, they have shared as a preview the construction tool, which will allow you to customize the objects not only by changing the pattern or color, but also the shape, texture and adding other elements.
