The SAT presumes a 22% increase in face-to-face attention

According to figures from the tax authority, the first quarter of 2021 saw the lowest number of face-to-face visits (1.6 million).

The service with the greatest demand by taxpayers was the electronic signature (e.firma), with close to 1.3 million services, of which 73% were for individuals and the rest for legal entities.

In the last five years -from 2019 to 2023-, only this year the million requests related to the electronic signature were exceeded, according to SAT data.

Historically, the SAT highlights, the first quarter of each year is when more taxpayers seek to obtain or renew the e.firma.

During the months of March and April all taxpayers must submit their annual tax return to the SAT; in March the moral persons and in April the physical ones.
