According to we read in The Electhe division that handles batteries in Samsung Galaxy phones wants to borrow this technology. With the same chemical composition, but with a different arrangement of cells, you could gain higher density to get more battery capacity in the same space. With this technique it will increase battery capacity by 10%which could come up with 5,500mAh keeping the same size reduce its size with a capacity of 5,000 mAh to make room for other components or even reduce overall device size.

Although we have already seen some leaks of this upcoming series, still it’s too soon to know details of the batteries of these next Samsung phones, but surely they will appear shortly more information about this curious technology applied to the world of mobile phones.
