It seems that a new battle is brewing between Qualcomm and Samsung, and it is that, although we do not know part of the necessary data to be able to make concise comparisons, we can read in phone arena that Samsung has made great strides regarding the performance of its Exynos processorsspecifically in the case of the Exynos 2400.
Under these lines, we can see the performance data of this new processor, achieving up to 1711 points in single-thread performance in Geekbench 5, and up to 6967 points in multithreaded performance in the same benchmark. For now there is no data on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, so we cannot compare with this chip.
However, we do have the performance results of the current generation, so we can make some distinction. On the one hand, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 has a score of 1604 points in single thread and 5311 points in multithreadwhile the Apple A16 has a score of 1871 points in single thread and 5344 points in multithread.
The temperatures that the Exynos 2400 reached are unknown, something important considering that these chips are relatively popular for getting hotter than their competition.
