Nov. 11 () –

The Russian Armed Forces have reported this Friday that they have completed the transfer of troops to the western bank of the Dnieper River, which runs from Russian territory to Ukraine through Belarus and which has acquired special relevance in the context of the clashes with Ukrainian forces in the Kherson region.

The Russian forces have indicated that there have been no “losses of military personnel and equipment” during the operation, according to information from the Interfax news agency.

“Today the complete transfer has taken place in the Kherson direction,” Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said during a press conference. “Not a single piece of military equipment and weapons has been left on the eastern side. All members of the Russian forces have crossed to the other side of the Dnieper,” he said.

Thus, he explained that the Army’s military units have preventively occupied the defensive lines in the area. “All the civilians who have wanted to leave the right side have received assistance to be able to be evacuated,” she asserted.

Major Sergei Surovikin has insisted that decisions regarding military moves around Kherson depend on the “military emergency situation”.
