Ubisoft and sister studio Evil Empire have just announced that The Rogue Prince of Persia, the new 2D action platformer rogue-lite game, is now available globally in early access on Steam with a 10% discount for the first 24 hours. The game is also available on the GeForce Now service. During Early Access, The Rogue Prince of Persia will include 6 biomes, 8 main weapons, 6 powerful tools, 2 boss encounters, and 30 amulets with infinite combinations to suit all play styles.
In The Rogue Prince of Persiaplayers will be transported to a mythical version of Ctesiphononce the prosperous heart of Persian Empire. Our character must act while this great city is on the brink of annihilation, since it has been invaded by the ruthless hordes of the Huns commanded by the evil chief Nogai.
Traveling through vibrant biomes, the The prince You must use all your acrobatic talent to safely navigate procedurally generated levels, acquire and upgrade an arsenal of weapons, equip new amulets, unlock equipment in the Oasis and recruit allies to try to save the city. To master the platforming challenges, players will be able to use the iconic wall run to traverse chasms, avoid traps, and overcome enemies. Still, the environment won’t be the only danger players will have to face, as they will fight a variety of enemies including Huns, armed with dark shamanic magic, and beasts corrupted by this nefarious power.
The game’s soundtrack also plays a key role in immersing players in a modern, epic vision of Persian folklore, with an original soundtrack produced and composed by ASADI, a Persian-American electronic music producer and performance artist. The original soundtrack of The Rogue Prince of Persia will be available on May 31 on the official Ubisoft Music pages on all streaming platforms and can be pre-save now by clicking here.
