The relationships between the characters The Sims 4 will be more realistic thanks to a new system of family dynamics

March 6 (Portaltic/EP) –

The new expansion pack The Sims 4 Growing Up as a Family will feature a new family dynamics system that will allow in-game characters to have more realistic relationships with your family and friends.

Electronic Arts has explained that players will be able to see “how people grow from when they are babies and how they go through the different stages of life, fulfilling precious milestones within the family,” according to a press release.

One of the novelties of The Sims 4 Growing Up as a Family is related to babies, since this free update of the base game allows you to create and modify babies with the possibility of choosing different clothes, accessories and hairstyles.

You can also change their diapers and put them to sleep, among other options. These, in turn, will have the ability to express their needs, emotions and feelings and will be able to meet milestones to access new skills for social interaction.

The latest release of The Sims 4 focuses precisely on the interrelationships between its characters, since it introduces a new social compatibility system focused on the development of his personality.

This translates into “new different forms of socialization with each Sim, which will lead to deeper and more meaningful relationships with family and friends,” as he has qualified in this statement.

EA has suggested that these individuals may display different behaviors depending on the people you surround yourself with. This will allow two people to “be joking or maybe competitive when they get together.” Hence, with this expansion, each Sim has a series of preferences that determine who is compatible or incompatible with socially.

The Sims 4 Growing Up as a Family will be available starting March 16, 2023 for PC via the EA app, Mac (Steam and Origin), PlayStation4, PlayStation5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
