He TS-765eU is a new QNAP NAS model in a short 12-inch-deep 1U rack format, equipped with dual 2.5 GbE connectivity and the ability to expand through 10GBASE-T connectivity using adapters.
What makes it special is that, in addition to having four SATA bays for 3.5-inch hard drives, it also includes three E1.S ports for high-performance SSDs. These ports are located on the rear and also support M.2 SSDs in 2280 format (22 x 80 mm), with internal PCI Express connectivity.
Inside we have a quad-core Intel Atom X7405C processor with a maximum speed of up to 3.4 GHz that can be accompanied by up to 16 GB of DDR5 RAM in expandable SO-DIMM format and with ECC.
The three rear ports, in addition to adding M.2 SSD, also allow the connection of additional modules such as the QXG-ES10G1T 10 Gbps network card.
At the moment we do not know its availability and price, but it is a model aimed at professional environments with a certain network infrastructure, although it is also valid for very enthusiastic users with server rack cabinet systems.
