This device is not new to Computex 2024, as it was launched at the beginning of the year, however, it is the first time we see the QNAP NASBook TBS-h574TX in operation and we can see one of its most striking features.
By having two 40 Gbps Thunderbolt 4 ports, it is possible to use both simultaneously to combine their bandwidth and transfer at a combined speed to the same device. Not in vain inside we find 5 bays for high-speed E1.S or M.2 PCIe SSDs.
Naturally, it is also possible to connect it to two separate PCs to access data simultaneously.
All this in a very compact format that hides Intel Raptor Lake processors with up to 12 cores inside. It also lacks 10 and 25 Gbps Ethernet network connectivity to take advantage of the transfer speeds of its SSDs.
Currently, the QNAP NASBook TBS-H574TX It is sold in Spain for about 2,250 euros in its configuration equipped with 16 GB of RAM soldered to the board and a Core i5-1340PE with 12 cores (4 P-Cores with 8 threads and 8 E-Cores with 8 threads). It offers 5 GB of flash memory and each of its 5 internal ports uses the PCIe 3.0 2x interface.
