On April 12, 2024, Dr. Pham Van Phong, President and CEO of PV GASorganized a meeting with PV GAS Vung Tau Processing Company (PV GAS VUNG TAU) regarding its business performance in the first quarter, the plan for the last 9 months of 2024, as well as future directions.
In the first quarter of 2024, facing a significant decrease in gas supply from the Cuu Long gas system, PV GAS VUNG TAU made continuous efforts to ensure the achievement of the assigned plan objectives.
Compared to the management plan, condensate and LPG production targets were not achieved, but 101% to 105% were met compared to the initial year plan, and revenue reached more than 122%.
PV GAS will supply nearly 70,000 tons of LNG
At the Thi Vai terminal, PV GAS VUNG TAU maintained the smooth operation of terminal services, maximizing the supply of gas and gas products to meet PV GAS's business needs.
In particular, the unit proactively coordinated the improvement of LPG tanker loading efficiency, the acquisition of customers for terminal and storage services, the improvement of gas supply readiness and the assurance of reliability of your LNG terminal.
During the first quarter of 2024, the company also successfully organized two events: the commissioning of the truck loading station in Thi Vai and the receipt of the second LNG vessel.

At the meeting, PV GAS President and CEO Pham Van Phong directed that PV GAS VUNG TAU constantly focus on safe, continuous and optimal operations, optimize Thi Vai Terminal to ensure the completion of the assigned management plan by 2024 .
In the long term, PV GAS VUNG TAU needs to coordinate with the divisions and units of the Corporation to develop new products, services/strength areas, collaborate on gas infrastructure planning, and land areas managed by PV GAS VUNG TAU ( Dinh Co Gas Processing Plant, Thi Vai Terminal, Tan Thanh Residential Area, C2 Chi Linh Area) to promote service activities, as well as rationalize the organizational structure and adjust the functions and tasks between departments/units to better meet the requirements of work.
