After several days of bombings on Lebanon, Israeli troops invaded territories in the south of that country this morning, in an escalation of the conflict that threatens the entire region and that has taken over the front pages of the world’s main newspapers. This issue, however, is not of sufficient importance for the Popular Party, which this Tuesday focused its positions on foreign policy on Venezuela and Mexico due to the attacks that its presidents have directed in recent days at Alberto Núñez Feijóo or the king.
Israel’s invasion of its northern neighbor has not thus entered the topics of the day that the PP spokesperson, Miguel Tellado, brings to the press conferences in Congress every Tuesday. In addition to giving details about his proposed law on conciliation or criticizing the increase in VAT on food, the deputy has entered foreign policy. But his concern was focused on Latin America.
