Philips has announced the launch of its new Philips 40B1U5600H monitors equipped with an IPS panel with an ultra-wide format of 21:9 with a resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels and that complies with the standard VESA DisplayHDR 400 which guarantees a maximum brightness of 400 nits.
This panel has multiple connectivity options that include USB-C with power delivery and also provides RJ-45 Ethernet connectivity. HDMI and DisplayPort are the other connectivity options. With the first, we have an HDMI 2.0 with a limitation of 100 Hz, while with its DisplayPort 1.4 you can take advantage of the 120 Hz refresh rate of your panel.
Other specifications of the IPS Panel that integrates the Philips 40B1U5600H They are a contrast of 1,200:1, slightly higher than the 1,000:1 typical of IPS panels. Its native response time is 4 milliseconds grey-to-gray. Its Ethernet port supports Wake on Lan (WOL) to be able to activate it through the network. USB-C, type 3.1 or 3.2 gen 2 at 10 Gbps, also provides a connection to four USB-A as a HUB, so we have an integrated docking station together with a 5-megapixel camera.
