The United States Department of Defense reported this Thursday that, after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine at the end of February 2022, the US Armed Forces have trained more than 7,000 Ukrainian troops.
As detailed by the Pentagon spokesman, General Patrick Ryder, 65 Ukrainian soldiers have received instruction in the use of the Patriot air defense system at the Fort Sill camp in Oklahoma, and have returned to Europe to complete their training.
According to the Department of Defense spokesman, another more than 4,000 Ukrainian soldiers will have received training in the use of combined arms in Germany before the end of this month, according to the US network .
