Ryder recalled that approximately 10,000 North Korean soldiers have been transferred to eastern Russia in recent days with the aim of increasing the Russian Army in the context of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. “We remain concerned that Russia intends to use these soldiers in combat or to support combat operations against Ukrainian forces in Kursk,” he added.
However, several intelligence officials have indicated that some of the North Korean soldiers are already inside Ukrainian territory, while in the coming days that number could increase as they finish military training in eastern Russia, according to the network. television.
