MADRID Dec. 2 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority, Mohamed Mustafa, stated this Monday that the Gaza Strip is being subjected to a “genocidal war” that represents a “failure for humanity” and for all international laws, which is why has called for respect for UN resolutions.
This was expressed during the conference that is taking place in Egypt to strengthen the humanitarian response to the Gazan population, an event organized with the contribution of the United Nations. “Until now, the systematic destruction of almost all civil infrastructure continues,” lamented Mustafa, who has asked that the “immediate” entry of humanitarian aid be guaranteed.
“Gaza is facing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis. It is a disaster zone where the population suffers hunger and destruction, while Israel, the occupying force, uses this as a weapon of war,” he maintained before stating that “what is happening seeing in Gaza is a large-scale, deliberate and systematic famine, and not just an absence of assistance.”
