Although the raspberry pi is the most famous SBC (Single Board Computer) that exists at the moment, it is definitely not the only one, and in this world we also find, for example, with the Orange Pi 5, a small plate that, despite the smaller support in comparison, arrives with a lot of muscle for certain tasks.
just as we found on the manufacturer’s websiteit is an SBC with a processor Rockchip RK3588S, which has four Cortex A76 cores at 2.4GHz and four Cortex A55 cores at 1.8GHzaccompanied by Mali G610 MP4 graphics and a dedicated NPU for artificial intelligence tasks.
We also find support for up to 32GB of LPDDR4x memory, 32GB of eMMC memory and WiFi 6.0, plus Bluetooth 5.0 and HDMI 2.1so that, in certain aspects, this small board far exceeds the Raspberry Pi that we can currently acquire.
Unfortunately, speaking of acquisitions, we have no reference to the price of this board, although as expected considering its hardware, it should be somewhat more expensive than the Raspberry Pi against which it competes, although these Orange Pi generally arrive below what other boards with the same hardware ask for.
