You have to go back more than a thousand years to find the first logos engraved on bottles, bowls, doors, business walls, etc. But it is suspected that they are much older.
Few have managed to survive to this day. but some logos very ancient they have overcome wars, pandemics, natural disasters and persecutions, and we can still see them today in supermarkets, clothing stores and gas stations.
The oldest logos in the world that still exist
The oldest logo in the world belongs to the Belgian beer brand Stella Artoiswhich goes back to the year 1366. It has, therefore, 656 years.
The original logo was a horn with a star on top. Now it has changed, but it still keeps the horn at the top, as you can see in this image:
The second oldest logo in the world that still exists is that of twiningsan acquaintance tea brand british. It was designed in 1787so it has 245 years. The most curious thing is that, unlike that of Stella Artois, not a single line has changed. The tea brand continues to use the exact same logo since the 18th century.
In third position we have the mythical logo of the Red Cross, which was born in 1864, and has not changed its design either. Have 158 years.
It is followed closely by the logo of nestlecreated in 1868. already adds up 154 years. The original logo was a bird’s nest, the current one maintains the same nest, but with the brand name below.
The fifth position is for Heinzthe popular brand of sauces and ketchup whose logo was created in 1869make 153 yearsalthough the new one is completely different.
