Not yet officially unveiled, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 will be priced at $599 according to latest leaks to which they have had access in Videocardz. This price puts it $200 below its big brother, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti.
The most recent leaks pointed to a launch of the RTX 4070 for the month of April of this year, so the fact that this information is leaked now could indicate that the launch is imminent. In fact, the price rumors themselves ensure that it will arrive on April 13 specifically.
The RTX 4070 will stay one step below the RTX 4070 Ti, with a lower number of CUDA Cores (5,888 against the 7,680 of its older sister), and a TDP of 200W instead of the 285W of the Ti. According to the leaked information, it will work with a base frequency of 1,920 MHz and will reach 2,475 MHz. It will feature 12 GB of 21 Gbps GDDR6X memory with a 192-bit data bus and 504 GB/s bandwidth.
We will have to wait to find out what the card that will replace the popular RTX 3070 in the new line of NVIDIA graphics is capable of, a graphics card with which it shares a number of CUDA Cores, but which it will surpass in all aspects.
