Recently, Nothing assured that its second terminal, the successor to the Nothing Phone (1), would arrive throughout this summer, and now they have specified the launch date: The Nothing Phone (2) will be officially announced on July 11 at 5:00 p.m. Spanish time in a global event.
The company has been showing small details of its second terminal for quite some time, which, if all goes as planned, will have more powerful hardware compared to the Nothing Phone (1) with its Snapdragon 778G+. Specifically, the Nothing Phone (2) will have a Snapdragon 8+ 1 of the last generation (after the first information that pointed to the Snapdragon 8 gen 2). In any case, it is a high-end SoC that will offer much better performance than the first Nothing model.
The Nothing Phone (2) will also arrive in the United States, something that did not happen with its predecessor, which had a more limited distribution. At the moment there are not many more details and we do not know the rest of the specifications, so we will have to wait until July 11 to find out what components and software will accompany this terminal, and if we will have better ones in key aspects such as the cameras or the screen.
