If there is a feature that allows us to separate the OnePlus from any other terminal -except the iPhone-is your side mute switch, a switch that is practically exclusive to the company in terms of Android terminals, and that it seems that he will not be with us for the next release of the company.
This has been seen after the appearance of official renders of the OnePlus 10T, which have shown a conspicuous absence of this switch. OnePlus has its reasons for it, but the staunch fans of the brand are not at all in agreement with its absencewhich has to do purely with the place it occupies, about 30 square millimeters.
This surface may not seem like much, but when we talk about the OnePlus 10T, or any other terminal for that matter, it really is a space to take into account for a device that has to fit in our pocket, and that this time it will have a whopping 15 antennas around the terminal, as well as an even faster fast charge.
These reasons do not seem to be of sufficient weight for OnePlus users, who have strongly denied this decision of the company, that removes one of the differentiating elements of its terminals in the face of an apparent renunciation of its identity.
