The new Xbox wireless headsets offer Dolby Atmos and up to 20 hours of battery life

Oct. 22 (Portaltic/EP) –

Microsoft has announced the new Xbox wireless headset, a version of the original model that includes surround sound, an auto-mute microphone and greater autonomy.

The new Xbox wireless headsets seek to “add dimension and depth to every action, interaction and atmosphere” of video games, and offer clearer communication with friends, as the company has highlighted in its official blog.

To do this, the technology company has equipped them with Dolby Atmos, at no additional cost, so that they can offer surround and spatial sound. It also has support for Windows Sonic and DTS Headphone:X technologies.

To plan strategies or simply discuss the game with friends, the new headphones integrate an improved microphone with automatic muting and voice isolation for clear communication.

These headsets can connect directly to consoles, and to a PC or mobile device via Bluetooth 5.3. And they integrate the Qualcomm S5 Gen 2 chip for latency-free connectivity.

Microsoft has also improved autonomy, since with the longer battery life they now offer up to 20 hours of use on a single charge.

An updated, elegant, all-black design that complements any gaming setup. The new Xbox wireless headphones, in headband format and in black, are priced at 109.99 euros. They replace the original model, and can be found in the Microsoft Store.
