The new trailer for the anthology series by Guillermo del Toro for Netflix finishes confirming that we are facing one of the essential horror pieces of the season. A true gathering of monsters (the real ones and the others) that will arrive over four days in October, at a rate of two per day, between October 25 and 28.

October 26th

  • autopsy‘: Directed by David Prior, responsible for the sensational ‘The Empty Man’) and written by David S. Goyer (‘Sandman’) adapting a short story by Michael Shea.
  • The appearance‘: Haley Z. Boston (“New Cherry Flavor”, so we can expect good doses of sleaze), based on a comic by Emily Carroll. Directed by Ana Lily Amirpour (‘A girl comes home alone at night‘).

October 27th

  • Dreams in the witch’s house‘: Conference dedicated to HP Lovecraft, with two episodes based on two stories. Catherine Hardwicke (“Thirteen”) directs and Mika Watkins writes.
  • Pickman’s model‘: Keith Thomas (‘Eyes of Fire’) with a screenplay by Lee Patterson. Eye, the unforgettable and still very disturbing Crispin Glover appears.

October 28

  • the murmur‘: Another story by Guillermo Del Toro is the basis for this episode written and directed by Jennifer Kent (‘Babadook‘).
  • The inspection‘: grand finale for Panos Cosmatos, director of the brutal ‘Mandy‘, which he directs and co-writes with Aaron Stewart-Ahn.
