Besides of launch of the new Galaxy S23 and its older brothers, the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Ultra, Samsung has taken advantage of its Unpacked 2023 event to announce its laptops Samsung Galaxy Book3 in its different variants, some with a convertible design, others with 14 inches, and the most capable model with dedicated RTX graphics.

The Galaxy Book3 Ultra is the most powerful and largest modelwith a 16-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels in 16:10 format and 120 Hz refresh rate.

Despite its thickness of 16.5 mm, this laptop is capable of housing the latest processors in its bowels Intel Thirteenth-generation P-range Core i7 alongside dedicated graphics like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070. There will be more modest variants with Core i5 and RTX 4050 graphics or simply the GPU integrated into the processor, the Intel Iris Xe.

This Galaxy Book3 Ultra will have a maximum of 32 GB of LPDDR5 memory and 1 TB of NVMe 1.4 SSD, all together with Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.1, HDMI, card reader and WiFi 6E connectivity. Its battery is 76 Wh

Just below and keeping most of the specs, but losing the option to NVIDIA’s RTX 40 dedicated graphics, we have the Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro, which has the same screen, range of processors, battery and connectivity. Yes indeed, by not having dedicated GPUs, its thickness drops to just 12.5mm.

He Galaxy Book3 Pro 14 It reduces the diagonal of the screen to 14 inches, but maintains resolution and Hz, as well as ranges of processors and the rest of the specifications of the 16″ model. Its battery drops to 63Wh and its thickness is further reduced to a very fine 11 .3mm.

In convertible format we have the Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 and Galaxy Book3 Pro 360. In this case, the “Pro” model maintains the 16″ screen with the same specifications, but with a convertible format thanks to its 360-degree hinges. The “non-Pro” model does reduce screen specifications, with only FullHD resolution in 15.6-inch or 13-inch panels, in addition, its format is 16: 9 and its most capable processor remains within the Core i5 range.

Prices for Samsung’s Galaxy Book3 range start from €1,399 for the 13-inch Galaxy Book3 360 to €2,100 for the more capable 16-inch Galaxy Book3 Pro. The Galaxy Book3 Ultra model will possibly be considerably more expensive, but the company has not yet revealed price figures in Spain.

They will hit the market from February 17.
