Today is the day when Apple has introduced the new iPhone 16 and 16 Proincluding its variants Plus and 16 Pro Max with a larger screen size. These iPhones have been presented as the first designed from scratch to make use of the new Apple Intelligence. They have also been added in 2 screen sizes, the iPhone 16 has a screen of 6.1 inches for the base model and 6.7 inches for the XL model.
Now the iPhone 16 includes the action button present on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max so you can customize the options. It also comes with a new control for the cameraa shutter button on the side to take photos more quickly. In its new design, a camera arrangement has been added, one on top of the other, like the old iPhone X and Xs, which allows taking Spatial Photos and Video compatible with Apple glasses. The camera control button allows you to launch the camera, take screenshots, record videos and even zoom thanks to its sliding touch controls.
Includes the Apple A18with 5-core GPU and a Dedicated NPU to offer Artificial Intelligence functions. This new Apple A18 has been improved for gaming, offering an FPS rate of up to 5 times higher and with support for ray tracing.
Among the artificial intelligence functions we find summaries, emojis and translations among others. It will also allow you to find images and sort them automatically. For email, Apple Intelligence will be able to offer the most relevant content above other notifications, classifying them as priority. Siri will also take options from Apple Intelligence to offer content according to your data. Apple Intelligence will be available next month in English, and will arrive in Spanish by 2025.
This iPhone 16 includes a larger battery that, together with greater efficiency, allows for a longer battery life, even with all these new features introduced as Apple Intelligence. Satellite messaging has also been added, although for the moment it will not be available in all countries and will soon be expanded to other countries, including Spain.
The iPhone 16 is priced starting at $799 and $899 for the Plus model.
Along with these iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, the Pro and Pro Max modelsdevices with a screen that has grown to 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches respectively and refresh rate up to 120 Hz. They include chassis of grade 5 titanium alloy and a system that allows to improve the temperature by up to 20%. It has been added longer battery lifewith the Pro model having the longest lifespan of all iPhones so far.
These iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max also include Apple Intelligence Optionswith a 16-core NPU capable of offering up to 35 billion operations per second. It also includes a 6-core GPU that will offer ray tracing and higher FPS rate in games. All thanks to the new Apple A18 Pro, with a 6-core CPU and other advanced features for display control and video encoding.
As for the cameras, it has been improved by adding three sensors, a main one of 48 MPx, a secondary ultra-wide angle of 12 MPx and a third sensor
He is able to record videos at 4K with 120 FPS and includes advanced features for capturing studio quality audio. A Pro model with many advanced options for photography and video with which we can obtain creations worthy of a studio.
The iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max will start at $999 and $1,199 respectively, available for pre-order this Friday and available on the 20th.
