Honor has presented this Wednesday the new Honor Magic V2, a folding ‘smartphone’ that opens a 20: 9 format, since it cuts a few inches from its screen compared to its predecessor, while when unfolded its thickness is reduced to 4.7 mm.
The company has announced this terminal, which is to follow its first folding Honor Magic VS, in China, the country where it will initially be available, although it has not confirmed when.
Honor Magic V2 is a phone that debuts a 6.43-inch internal OLED LTPO screen -the VS panel was a 6.45-inch OLED-, with FullHD+ resolution (2376 x 1060 pixels) and 20:9 format.
The internal screen, for its part, is also a 7.92-inch folding LTPO OLED. With 2344 x 2156 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, it supports HDR10+ and is compatible with Magic Pen.
Regarding its dimensions, when folded it presents a thickness of 9.9 mm, while when unfolded it is reduced to 4.7 mm. His weight is 231 grams, as confirmed by the Chinese company in its presentation.
The phone is equipped with a processor Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Adreno 740 GPU. At the configuration level, it has a 16 GB RAM memory, while it offers three versions for its internal storage (256GB, 512GB and 1TB).
The rear camera has three lenses: the main one, 50 MP, wide angle and macro also 50 MP and 20 MP telephoto. The front, on the other hand, is 16 MP on both the interior and exterior screens.
This ‘smartphone’ also comes with a battery of 5000mAh and 66W fast charging, same specifications as Honor Magic VS. In addition, it works with MagicOS 7.2, based on Android 13.
This new Honor plehable will be launched in its country of origin from 8,999 yuan, which at the current exchange rate in euros is about 1,132 euros in its basic configuration, although at the moment it has not been confirmed if it will reach the European market.
